Colin has done art for a lifetime and has saved pieces of his work from as far back as the mid 1940's. He did art in the first grade all the way up through high-school and also attended courses at several universities. "It's never to late to learn," Sutphin says as he just finished an evening class in watercolors this past April.

He has worked in various mediums from oils, acrylics, wood, and even beach sand. He has mostly worked in pencil, ink, watercolors and his all time favorite medium is pastels. When he retired twenty years ago he moved to the Sebring area permanently.

"Here in my later years the goal is to spread happiness thru art here in the Highlands community. I think art, like music is best shared with others."
